Hey, welcome to the Gear page!

As you can probably tell – I’m just starting to cobble this corner of the blog together – but at the end of the day – I’m hoping to have a one-stop resource to talk about gear that I use.  No fluff – no filler – no extra calories.  This is simply the gear that I drag into the field (and not the stuff sitting at home getting dusty).

As for my gear – just a heads up – it’s not all of the cool sparkly stuff – or the latest and greatest from the most recent trade show.  I’m a part-time photographer – and my criteria for new gear is hopefully in a sweet spot between durability and performance and price.  I’m not going to try and persuade you that the brand I use is better than another – these are just the tools I’m using today to make photos.

So – please, consider this a work in progress – and I’ll try to get this spiffy soon.
